Husholdnings Rom

Launched in the spring of 2019, Husholdnings Rom is the final release in our core portfolio.

Husholdnings Rom is organic and based on fair trade certified molasses from the Arroyos y Esteros region in Paraguay. The Legado Distillery and their sugar mill are among the largest employers in the region and have since the early 2000s been committed to giving back to the local community both through fair wages and employment practices, as well as through social programmes for schools, health and culture.

Husholdnings Rom is aged for one year in american oak, and pure water is the only thing we add before bottling. The rum is not charcoal- or chill filtered, which gives it intense, lively notes of papaya, pineapple, citrus, vanilla and baked sugar cane.
